Inspired by antique botanical book plates, this piece brings both modern and vintage styles together.   The pages of an 1800's dictionary form a partial background for the abstract flower, painted on a luxurious flow of white wax.  Rich neutral colors in gray and brown tones, with a subtle hint of gold in the flower's center and the edges, give this piece a timeless quality.
